We are committed to following Jesus Christ and living out His teachings with authenticity, humility, grace, and love. Our foundation is the Holy Bible, which we believe is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, guiding our faith, values, and daily lives. We believe in one God—eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again, offering forgiveness and new life to all who believe in Him. We believe the Holy Spirit is active today, teaching, guiding, comforting, and equipping believers to grow spiritually and to serve others.
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, offered to all through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not earned by our works, but received by trusting in Christ’s finished work on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. Through repentance and faith, a person is forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God. As a New Testament church, we proclaim that:
We joyfully declare that, in Christ, we are saved, secure, and sent to share the good news of the gospel with the world.
We believe baptism is a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing our identification with His death, burial, and resurrection, and our new life in Him. Baptism is an outward act that corresponds to the inward reality of receiving the gift of faith. It is a visible testimony of our commitment to Christ and our belonging to His body, the Church. As Scripture teaches, “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ” (Galatians 3:27). Immersion represents being buried with Christ in His death, and rising out of the water symbolizes our spiritual resurrection and union with Him (Romans 6:3–4, 1 Peter 3:21).
We believe baptism is not a requirement for salvation, which comes by grace through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8–9), but it is a powerful expression of that faith. It is a sign of repentance, a public confession of our faith, and a step of obedience to Christ’s command (Matthew 28:19–20). It affirms we have died to sin, are raised to new life in Christ, and are now called to live for God. In our church, baptism is performed by immersion in water in accordance with the New Testament pattern. It is offered to those who have made a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and it is a moment of joy and spiritual renewal for the believer and the community of faith.
